Maltese President Edward Fenech Adami has recently received the chairman and members of the foreign affairs committee at the Shoura (consultative) council, which is currently visiting Malta in response to an invitation from the Maltese parliament. The chairman of the delegation conveyed to the Maltese President the greetings of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, his Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz as well as the Saudi Government and people. On his part, the Maltese President appraised the great role being played by King Abdullah as regards the regional and international causes. He reiterated the keenness of his country on further cementing relations with the Kingdom in the various domains. On the other hand, the delegation met the Maltese Premier and minister of economy to review issues of mutual interest. --more
