The General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization of the United Nations (IMO) started its 5-day meeting here today with the participation of representatives of 167 states, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi delegation to the meetings was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Transport Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-O'hali. During today's meeting, a number of topics on the agenda, including electing a new President and two deputies of the General Assembly of the Organization were discussed.
