His Excellency underscored the importance of drawing a unified strategy for producing modern technology and using it correctly to preserve environment and of considering the diversifying of energy sources an international concern in addition to work for enhancing OPEC fund and putting a strategy to support the poor countries who inflict losses due to energy price changes. He called for holding a meeting every two or three years for OPEC leaders to follow-up the accelerating global developments and the challenges facing the member states.
