Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, The Governor of Riyadh Region, who is also Chairman of The Charitable Society For Orphans, presided over the first meeting of its Board of Directors' Third session. Addressing the meeting, Prince Salman welcomed the new members and urged them to exert utmost efforts that could enable the society to continue its charity mission which began nine years ago. Prince Salman also praised the achievements of the Society despite its short-age and thanked former members for what they had done for the Society during their membership in the previous Board of Directors. He also thanked supporters, donors, philanthropists, companies and Establishments. The Board, then reviewed topics on the meeting's agenda and approved the formation of the Society's council under the chairmanship of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and vice chairmanship of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz. The Board also approved the establishment of an executive commission under the chairmanship of Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz along with six members. The meeting endorsed also the nomination of Dr Hamoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Badr as the Society's Secretary General.
