Saudi Arabia has expressed its support for the principle of expansion of the Security Council in accordance with democratic and equitable geographical representation in its permanent and non-permanent membership. "Saudi Arabia believes that United Nations' member states have a professional and ethical responsibility towards the international community through the sincere implementation of the political management by executing the results of the World Summit convened by the United Nations in 2005, free from selectivity and narrow national interests, " said Minister Plenipotentiary at the Saudi Foreign Ministry Saud Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Jabri in a speech of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the U.N.General Assembly at its 62nd session, here yesterday. This session is convened on the ninth report of the Security Council as regards the question of equitable representation and an increase in its membership and other related matters. --MORE
