The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved the establishment of a center for contemporary Islamic studies and civilizations' dialogue at Riyadh-based Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University. This was announced by Rector of the university Dr Suleiman Abal-Khail. He noted that the center will project the greatness of Islam in tackling problems and shed light on the Islamic systems as well as human rights. The Center will also be concerned with the youth problems and the rights of women in Islam. Meanwhile, the Center will clarify the stand of Islam pertaining to terrorism and the contemporary international issues in addition to the causes of the Muslim world, the dialogue between the Islamic civilization and other civilizations. --MORE
