The meeting of the first session for the sub-committee of the consular and social affairs, an affiliate of the joint Saudi-Moroccan ministerial committee, began here on Thursday evening. The Saudi side is led by undersecretary of the foreign ministry for consular affairs Ibrahim al-Khurashi, while the Moroccan side is led by Omar Hilal, the undersecretary of the foreign affairs and cooperation ministry. The participants of the meeting reviewed issues pertaining to consular and social problems and other related topics. They also reviewed issues pertaining to Hajj and Umrah (minor Hajj). At the end of the meeting, the Saudi side extended an invitation to the Moroccan side to hold the second session of the meetings in Riyadh.
