Any governmental quarter should submit its application for permission to the ministry to import or export any substances listed under Schedule I through the form prepared for this purpose. 2 - The Ministry will study the request within thirty (30) days and then forward it to the Ministry of the Interior to express an opinion. 3 - The Ministry of the Interior must notify to the concerned ministry about its opinion during the sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of the request from the concerned ministry. 4 - The concerned Ministry will reply the applicant within two weeks from the date of receipt of answer from the Ministry of the Interior, and notify the Interior Ministry and the National Commission in the event of an approval of the request. 5- It will be permissible to import and export one shipment only during the authorized period of import or export. 6- The authorized duration for import or export will be one year from the date of the issuance. Article X1 The clearance procedures for the listed substances under Schedule I: 1 - The government quarter which obtained the permission for import or export of a shipment of one of the substances listed under Schedule I should apply to the concerned ministry for the clearance of the shipment before sixty (60) days of the arrival or departure of the actual shipment through the filling of the form prepared for this purpose. 2- In the case of approval of the concerned Ministry for the request of clearance, the Ministry will send the clearance of these substances to the Customs Department 40 days before the arrival or actual departure of the shipment as well as provide to the Interior Ministry and the National Commission as well as the applicant, a copy of this clearance. 3 - The Customs Department will inform the concerned Ministry and the National Commission of what has been actually cleared of these substances. --More
