Gas leak traps 34 in coal mine in China

A gas leak Thursday trapped 34 miners in a coal mine in southwest China, state media reported.
Xinhua News Agency said 52 miners managed to escape the
leak in the Qunli mine in Nayong county in Guizhou
province.
It said a rescue workers were trying to free the trapped
miners. Xinhua gave no other details.
