A cargo plane caught fire at takeoff Thursday on the Khartoum international airport and rammed into a fence of the adjacent military airfield, an airport official said. All the crew members on board the Russian-made Antonov, belonging to local Juba Air Cargo airline based in Khartoum, were unhurt, the airport official, Mohamed al-Hassan said. The plane was destined for Juba, the capital of southern Sudan, according to a report of the Associated Press.
