Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Humeid, Chairman of Shoura (Consultative) Council who is currently visiting Romania, held talks here today with the speaker of Romanian Senate Council, Nikolay Fakaroyou at the parliament's premises. They discussed issues of mutual interest in the various arenas, especially prospects of enhancing cooperation between the Shoura Council and the Senate. The talks also covered ways of exploring the best avenues to bolster relations between the two friendly countries and dealt with a review on the current regional and International developments. On his part, Fakaroyou welcomed the visit of Shoura Chief and stressed the political and Economic significance enjoyed by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at different Regional and International spheres. He also highlighted the distinguished role being played by The Kingdom in the Middle east, the Muslim World and in global forums. On his part, Sheikh Salih expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Government and friendly people of Romania for the warm hospitality he and the accompanying delegation has been enjoying during their stay in Bucharest. He also praised the deep-rooted bilateral relations in different, political, economic, investment and parliamentary fields.
