The ministers of interior of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states started here today their 26th meeting under the chairmanship of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior. Addressing the meeting, Prince Naif welcomed the ministers, noting that the Kingdom sees that every meeting held in the framework of the council is an enhancement of the council's triumphant march which has been set up on firm bases of cooperation for the interest of their countries and peoples. Prince Naif also welcomed Sheikh Jaber bin Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah after assuming the post of Kuwait's interior minister in succession to Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah whose contributions within the council's framework are appreciated, wishing all success for the new Kuwaiti interior minister to perform his missions in the service of his country and religion. --More
