Israeli aircraft struck twice in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday against Palestinian rocket operations. Palestinian hospital officials said a fighter and three civilians were killed. The civilians included a father and son who were killed when a missile struck a trailer where they and a neighbor were sleeping, hospital officials and witnesses said. Rocket-launching equipment stood nearby. Hamas security officials said the three were guards in a nearby factory. Hospital officials identified them as Zaher al-Aer, 40, his 18-year-old son, Youssef, and a neighbor, Mohammed Abu Herbet, 23, according to a report of the Associated Press.
