Around a dozen spectators were injured Saturday at a Spanish second-division game after a barrier gave way, news agency Efe said, according to AP. The accident occurred at Alaves' Mendizorroza Stadium after the host team scored a first-half goal against Eibar, causing a group of fans to fall into a two-meter (yard) deep trench along the side of the field. The spectators were taken to two hospitals in the city with no reports of serious injuries.
