The exhibition titled "Bilateral Historical Relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom" has been concluded. The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information at Victoria and Albert Museum in London in cooperation with the Saudi Embassy in London to coincide with the state visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the United Kingdom. Over three days, the exhibition attracted a large number of visitors. The estimated number reached about 15,000 visitors. The exhibition featured about 100 pictures reviewing relations between the two countries over 100 years. Minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iyad bin Ameen Madani and British Secretary of State for Middle East and North Africa Kim Hols co-opened the exhibition on Tuesday. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland; Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Advisor to the King; a number of diplomats accredited to Britain, Saudi and British media representatives, a big number of members of the Saudi community in Britain and the British community.
