The Minister of Finance of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf met here today with British Secretary of International Development Douglas Alexander on the fringes of the visit to Britain currently paid by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland and Britain's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia William Batey. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of international development aid and enhancement of coordination at international development institutions. They also reviewed topics on the agenda of Development Committee, an affiliate of the World Bank, and the efforts of the two countries in supporting the works of the world community to assist developing countries to achieve millennium development goals.
