A royal approval has been issued to the Saudi Committee for Relief of the Palestinian People to finance the project of establishing a technical and vocational training center for poor women and those of special needs in Hebron in the West Bank of Palestine at a total cost of SR 5,962,500. Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior and the committee's general supervisor has directed to speed up measures necessary for signing a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Program in Palestine to implement the project to alleviate the suffering of the affected Palestinian people. Advisor to Interior Minister and the committee's chairman Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harithi said the committee has been continuing its efforts to implement relief programs in Palestine exceeding 40 relief and humanitarian programs and projects at a total cost of SR 761,935,949. He noted that the Committee has signed several agreements for the implementation of some programs and projects for the relief of the Palestinian people with many international organizations at a cost of SR 187,714,532.
