Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, accompanied by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Riyadh region, visited here last night Abdulaziz bin Saud al-Babitain. Speaking on the occasion, al-Babitain highlighted the existing deep-rooted Saudi-Kuwaiti relations. He underlined the importance of exchanging visits by the Gulf officials. On his part, Dr Mohammed al-Rumeihi praised the role played by the Kingdom in the support of Kuwait 17 years ago. Citing the difficult circumstances being passed by the region, he said the difficulties could be overcome through enhancing cooperation among the Gulf leaders. Dr al-Rumeihi lauded the reforms witnessed by the Kingdom in the economic, social, cultural and industrial domains. --more
