Minister of culture and information Iyad Amen Madani visited here last night History and Arts Research Center here. Later, he held a meeting with director of the Center Khalid Aroun. During the meeting, organization of a show for the rare photographs about the Kingdom by the Center in Jeddah later this year was announced. Madani highlighted the importance of the Center to the organization of the Islamic conference (OIC) and to the Kingdom in particular. He reiterated the readiness of the Kingdom to extend support to the Center The minister of culture and information received as a gift an ancient copy of the Holy Quran and a book containing historical pictures about the Islamic civilization.
