Sheikh Sabah Al-ahmed Al-jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait held official talks today with Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, at Al-Bayan palace here. The talks focused on the latest developments in Gulf, Arab, Islamic and international arenas, in particular the Palestinian issue and the current situation in Iraq. The talks also dealt with aspects of bilateral cooperation and explored means of boosting the bilateral ties for the joint interests of the brotherly people of the two countries. The meeting was attended by Prince Salman bin Abdul-aziz, the Governor of Riyadh region, Prince Khaled bin Fahd bin Khaled, Prince Khaled bin Saad bin Fahd, Prince Sattam bin Saud bin Abdul-aziz. The Kuwaiti side at the meeting was comprised of Sheikh Nawaf Al-ahmed Al-Jabir Al-Sabah, the Heir Apparent; Jassim Mohammad Al-Qurrafi, Chairman of the Ummah Council; Sheikh Mishaal Al-ahmed Al-jabir Al-Sabah, the Deputy Chairman of the National Guard, and Sheikh Nasir Al-Mohammad Al-ahmed Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister.
