Kuwaiti relations, the crown prince underlined the strength of the distinguished and deep-rooted Saudi-Kuwaiti relations saying they are a model for relations among brothers. He added that the Saudi-Kuwaiti relation is proceeding on its way to a prosperous future to achieve more security and prosperity for the two countries and peoples. The crown prince added, "We are also working within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council with all the brothers to develop joint cooperation benefiting our countries and peoples." On Saudi support for Kuwait especially during the Iraqi invasion and challenges that might arise if tensions in the region occurred again, the crown prince said, "What the kingdom did to help the brothers in Kuwait was just a duty for us in line with our Islamic and Arab values and blood and brotherly ties between us. I pray to Allah (God) that such a tragedy will not be suffered again by any Arab or Islamic country." --more
