In presence of Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, the Saudi Club at U.S. North Iowa University in cooperation with the University and under the supervision of the Saudi Cultural Attached Department in Washington will hold the first Saudi-American Relations Conference on October 24. Participants in the conference include former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the incumbent president of the Middle East Center for Studies in Washington Wyche Fowler, a number of Saudi and American personalities and others interested in the relations between the two countries. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) today, the Club's President Ali bin Abdullah Alkarous said that the conference aims at highlighting the firm ties of friendship between Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. He expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Saudi ambassador for accepting the Club's invitation to attend the conference and participate in its activities.
