SAFCO PROFITS JUMP TO SR 1466 MILLION

The net profits of the Saudi Arabian fertilizers corporation (SAFCO) amounted to sr 1466 million in the first nine months of 2007. In the same period last year the profits amounted to sr 836.8 million.
The net profits in the third quarter of 2007 jumped to sr 616.2 million from sr 271.4 million in the same period last year.
This was announced by Eng Mohammed al-Madi, the executive president of SAFCO.
