Mohammed Ali Husseini, the spokesman for the Iranian foreign ministry, said his country is ready to conduct negotiations with the permanent members of the UN's security council on the Iranian nuclear issue without preconditions. Addressing his weekly press conference here today, Husseini said Iran had earlier announced its readiness to conduct talks with group 5+1 without preconditions. Pointing out to the failure of some countries to impose sanctions on Iran outside the framework of the UN, Husseini called for presenting new initiatives and proposals in this respect in a manner that preserves his country's nuclear rights.
