The Department of International Cultural Relations, an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has participated in eleven international festivals and held Saudi cultural days in Egypt and Bahrain during 2006 and 2007, a report issued here today said. The department's report said Saudi theatrical bands also performed eleven theatrical works in which 175 actors from different parts of the Kingdom took part. Among the major cultural events in which Saudi Arabia participated were Morocco-based Marrakech theatrical festival, Al-Khaleej Theatrical Festival held in Bahrain, and Cairo International Festival.
