Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, today gave the okay for the Saudi Development Fund to provide credit facilities worth SR362,500,000 to contribute to the finance of a package of non-oil export operations and other services to a number of countries, including UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, and other countries. In remarks to the press, Eng. Yousef Al-Bassam, Deputy President and Managing Director of SDF, said the credits come within the efforts of the Fund to increase the size of national non-oil exports and increase commercial exchange between the Kingdom and other sisterly and friendly countries. Since its inception six years ago, SDF's programme in support of Saudi exports has provided credit facilities worth more than SR7 billion.
