Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Atiq Ahmed visited the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad on Monday. He lauded the deep-rooted ties binding the government and people of Pakistan with Saudi Arabia and expressed the gratefulness of the government and people of Azad Kashmir to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, and the people of Saudi Arabia for the unprecedented Saudi contribution towards the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts for the quake-hit areas in October 2005. The Saudi Ambassador to Islamabad Ali S. Awadh Asseri said the leadership, government and people of Saudi Arabia have provided this assistance for quake-stricken victims, thanking the Azad Jammu & Kashmir senior official for visiting the embassy. He said the Saudi government will continue to extend unqualified support for comprehensive dialogue between Pakistan and India to solve all pending issues between the two neighboring countries.
