President of the Srpska Republic, Milan Jelic, died suddenly Sunday, succumbing to an apparent heart attack, local media said, according to dpa. Jelic, 51, was elected to a four-year term as president of the Serbian part of Bosnia in October last year. An Independent Social-democratic Party comrade of Prime Minister Milorad Dodik, he was also a high-ranking official in the Bosnian football organization.
