As many as 24 persons of different nationalities have recently embraced Islam. The converts included 14 Filipino and Sri Lankan women, 3 French women and seven Nepalese and Filipino men. Sheikh Fu'ad Al-Rasheed, the Director of the cooperative office for Islamic call and guidance at al-Badee'a neighborhood in Riyadh, reiterated the keenness of the office on persuading the non-Muslims to embrace Islam. He noted that the office provides the converts with translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran and Islamic cassettes.
