As part of efforts to integrate orphans into mainstream society, the Charitable Society for the Care of Orphans (Insan) has announced plans to build two major facilities. The total cost of the two projects, which include a special social club for orphans in Al-Kharj and a central Insan office building in Riyadh, will exceed SR69 million, according to a report of Arab News. “The funds for the construction of the proposed social club for orphans in Al-Kharj have been donated by a well-known Saudi businessman and philanthropist Fawaz Al-Hokair,” said Insan spokesperson Essam Askar. The project, to be completed within the next two years, will cater to the social needs of orphans of the central region by providing them a platform for interaction, entertainment and rehabilitation. --MORE
