Half a million Sudanese affected in new wave of flooding

Half a million people have been hit by devastating floods in Sudan which have washed away homes, drowned thousands of cattle and marooned villages, the United Nations said Monday.
With no end in sight, a new wave of flooding has upped the number of those affected by 100,000, and is set to increase.
More than 113 people have been killed in Sudan since July because of the surging waters, DPA reported.
