A number of Egyptian officials appreciated the Kingdom's achievements in economic, political, cultural, religious and social fields particularly its remarkable role in supporting Arab and Islamic issues. In statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA),Dr. Mohamed Sayed Tantawi sheikh of Alazhar said that Saudi national day is a day for all of us. The Egyptian Mufti Dr. Ali Jumma highlighted the National day and valued the services rendered by Saudi Government for millions of pilgrims every year. On his part, Egyptian minister of endowment Mahmood Hamdi zagzoug congratulated Saudi leadership and people on this occasion. Congratulations were also extended by Egyptian ministers of trade and industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed and oil minister Eng. Samih Fahmi who both highlighted the depth of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
