Rice arrives in Israel

US Secretary of States Condoleezza Rice arrived in Tel Aviv today in her sixth visit to Israel and the Palestinian Territories since the beginning of this year.
Rice will proceed to Al-Quds to hold talks with Israeli deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon and Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni.
On Wednesday, Rice Will hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. She will meet Olmert again on Thursday after her visit to Ramallah where she will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayad.
These meetings aim at the revival of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process as well as preparation for the International peace conference , proposed by Washington.
