Mauritania's President Sidi Mohammed Ould Al-Sheikh Abdullah has commended financial and relief assistance provided by the Kingdom to the victims of recent floods in Mauritania. In a statement to Al-Riyadh newspaper published today, he appreciated Saudi generous support for his country and expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi government and people. The Mauritanian President described relations between the two countries as fraternal, firm and deep-rooted in history, noting that these relations have been continuously enhanced, thanks to the efforts of the King and the common will of the two governments.
