The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace in Jeddah today Palestinian President and Chairman of Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas and the accompanying delegation. The Monarch and the Palestinian President held a meeting during which they discussed the latest developments at the Palestinian arena and the necessity for renouncing local differences, unification of the Palestinian ranks and restoration of the situations to achieve the demands of the Palestinian people for freedom and dignity in their homeland. They also reviewed current international efforts for activation of the stalled peace process in the region, emphasizing the inevitability of regaining the rights of the Palestinian people in setting up their independent state on the national land with Al-Quds as its capital to achieve security and stability in the region according to the resolutions of the international legitimacy and Arab Peace Initiative. The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister and Palestinian Ambassador to Kingdom Jamal Abdullatif Al-Shobaki.
