Flash floods triggered by torrential rains and swelling rivers inundated parts of Bangladesh over the weekend, leaving at least five people dead and hundreds stranded, emergency officials said Sunday. Some areas are still reeling from the affects of a recent monsoon deluge that submerged most of the delta nation for two months _ from June to August _ leaving more than 500 dead and thousands without homes, the Disaster Management Ministry said.
