Saudi Arabia delivered the second and third installments of the assistance worth SR 2 million provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in support of Yemen's malaria control program. The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan delivered the assistance to Yemen's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Majid Al-Jineid. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Ambassador said that the Saudi support attains great importance in enhancing the efforts of the Republic of Yemen to combat malaria and reduce its impact, especially in the coastal areas, hoping that this support would contribute to the eradication of the dangerous epidemic of malaria.
