Mottaki calls Al-Muallem

Iranian foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki has made a telephone call to his Syrian counterpart Waleed al-Muallem.
The Iranian news agency quoted Mottaki as saying that the Israeli aggression against Syria aims at improving the morale of the Israeli army which has been facing a stubborn resistance from the Lebanese people.
Mottaki underscored the importance of solidarity between Iran and Syria.
On his part, al-Muallem expressed appreciation for the stand of Iran vis-à-vis the Israeli aggression against his country.
