The ministerial council of foreign ministers of Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries concluded at Conferences Palace here today their 104th session under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar Obeid Madani. In a statement issued at the end of the session, the ministerial council congratulated Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the successful surgery he has recently undergone, wishing him permanent good health. The statement said that the council reviewed the achievements of joint cooperation march and latest political, regional and international developments since the council's last session. The council reviewed achievements regarding the requirements of Common Gulf Market, urging the concerned ministerial committees to complete these requirements for submitting them to the Supreme Council in its next session. The council welcomed the outcomes of the 2nd extraordinary meeting of GCC defense and foreign ministers and chiefs of national security bodies held in Riyadh on July 3. --More
