A German baby-food company, Bebivita, recalled infant formula Friday, saying the milk powder, intended to wean young babies, contained traces of a micro-organism present in house dust, according to DPA. A routine check had shown some packets of the formula contaminated with E. sakazakii. If milk was kept warm in the bottle for several hours and then fed to babies with a weak immune system, the could become sick, the Munich-based company said. German consumers were asked to return the packs which were labelled "Bebivita 1 Anfangsmilch" and marked with the use-by date of August 22 next year.
