Sharjah TV set to launch new sports channel soon

Sharjah TV will launch a new sports channel, Channel 2, in a few weeks in three languages - English, French and Persian - to cater to the growing number of sports fans.
It will be beamed off an Arabsat satellite and will soon be a round-the-clock telecast.
The channel had its soft launch last month. "There's an unbelievable demand for sports entertainment," says Khalid Safar, manager of Sharjah TV according to a report in 'Gulf News.'
