Vietnam's government spokesman said Thursday that authorities will "coordinate with related parties" over a second group of North Korean asylum-seekers in a month to take refuge in a foreign embassy in Hanoi, DPA reported. Five North Koreans climbed over the fence of the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi on Tuesday and asked for asylum, Vietnamese police sources said. The five reportedly asked to be resettled in South Korea, but it was unclear how they had entered Vietnam. Vietnamese government spokesman Le Dung told reporters that the government was informed of the situation on Wednesday. "Vietnam authorities will coordinate with related parties to settle this issue in accordance with Vietnamese laws, international laws and practices on the basis of humanity," Dung said. An earlier group of four North Korean asylum seekers, who took refuge in the Danish embassy in Hanoi last month, was relocated to Seoul. dpa kj jh 231107 GMT Aug 07
