Indonesian shares rose 2.65 per cent in value Thursday, triggered by an overnight rise in shares on Wall Street and regional bourses, DPA reported. The Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite Index closed at 2,117.660 points, an increase of 54.669 points, or 2.65 per cent up from Wednesday's closing of 2,061.991. Dealers said the increase was primarily triggered by the rally in shares on Wall Street as well as in the regional markets.
