The Executive Council of the Higher Coordination Committee of Islamic Organizations will hold its first session here on Saturday ( August 25 ). Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki, the Secretary General of The Muslim World League, who will chair the session said the committee has to achieve integration and coordination in works of organizations, institutions and Islamic centers all over the world, especially in the areas of the plans and programs of works on the definition of Islam and preservation of the Islamic identity of Muslims along with the adoption of common stances and joint actions to highlight important issues with the values of Islam, humanity , civilization and the removal of all misconceptions, in cooperation with the International Islamic council of Dawah and Relief. The agenda of the first meeting of the Executive Board main discussion contains three papers on topics of true Islamic concepts to improve the image of Islam and Muslims ; the factors preserving the Islamic nation's identity and personality and setting up a strategy of the cultural partnership for Muslims. Meanwhile, the MWL Chief received a delegation from Ahl Al-Hadeeth Society in Birmingham - UK headed by Mohammed Abdullah who explained the functions carried out by the Society in some parts of Britain highlighting their Islamic education, the dissemination of the culture of Islam and the Society's role of overseeing the memorization of the Quran centers.
