An Iranian military helicopter slammed into a mountain during a storm killing at least six members of the armed forces, AP quoted state radio as reporting on Saturday. Five other military men were also reported wounded in the crash which took place during military maneuvers near the town of Piranshahr in the Kurdish region of Iran along the border with Iraq, 700 kilometers west of the capital Tehran. «The crash occurred when the helicopter ran into a mountain due to a storm,» the radio report said, without giving any further details on the rank of those killed or when the accident took place. Funeral services for the dead men were held in Piranshahr on Saturday.
