At least twenty-four people were drowned in two incidents in two rivers of Pakistan, police said. Nine persons were drowned while three others rescued when an over-loaded boat capsized in Chenab River near Multan in Pakistan's Punjab province, police said. At least 15 children were drowned in River Jhelum. As many as 11 youth, their five motorbikes and one sailor were on board when the boat capsized in the middle of Chenab river, officials in Multan said. The rescued youth were rushed to a hospital in Muzaffargarh for medical aid.
