Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said Sunday night that talks between Iran's top nuclear negotiator, head of the UN nuclear watchdog and the EU foreign policy chief were "progressing." Speaking in a televised interview with Channel One of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Hosseini said the talks between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be held rotatingly in Tehran and Vienna. He said the decision was made based on the latest agreements reached during recent meetings of Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani, Secretary General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei and the EU Foreign Policy Chief, Javier Solana. Hosseini added that the third round of talks between deputies of Larijani and ElBaradei would be held on August 20. The first two rounds of Tehran-IAEA talks were respectively held on July 11 (in Tehran) and July 24 (in Vienna) between under-secretary of Iran's SNSC, Javad Vaeedi, and IAEA Deputy Director General for Safeguards Olli Heinonen.
