PIA leases seven new Airbus A320-200 aircraft

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has signed a Letter of Intent for getting on lease seven new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO), Kuwait, officials said.
The lease is meant to modernize PIA fleet with newer and more fuel-efficient aircraft.
The delivery of A320 is expected to commence in 2009 and will be completed in the same year.
