Former Swiss international Ciriaco Sforza is said to have received underhand payments from his former club Kaiserslautern, a German court heard Wednesday, according to dpa. Sforza's former agent Martin Wiesner told a Kaiserslautern court that the player had four other contracts apart from his employment contract and is said to have received one million marks (685,000 dollars) from the four contracts. Wiesner was giving evidence at the trial of former Kaiserslautern director of sports Hans-Peter Briegel and former vice president Axel Ulmer. The two are being sued by the club for compensation after the club was ordered to pay 545,000 euros in back-tax.
