Egyptian Ambassador to the kingdom Mohammad AbdulHameed Qasim highlighted the importance of the Saudi-Egyptian political consultation agreement signed in Cairo today by Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister, and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Aboul Gheit. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, he underlined the great strength of Saudi-Egyptian relations and said the agreement will bolster the already ongoing political consultations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The agreement calls for holding at least one annual meeting between the two sides and meetings when necessary. The meetings shall be held in the capitals of the two countries alternately.
